On August 29, 2005, the landscape of the Ms Gulf Coast forever changed due to Hurricane Katrina.

The Administrative Offices, Grass Lawn, Gaston Hewes Rec. Center & Charles L. Walker Sr. Center were destroyed and many other facilities severely damaged.  While our buildings are gone, our spirits remain in tact and we plan to rebuild bigger and better than ever. Your prayers, kindness, and generosity are appreciated.
